All about condoms

Here’s a few important tips about condoms:

  • Make sure you have the right size – it’s important that your condom is not too small or too big. Having the wrong sized condom can make sex uncomfortable and increase the chances the condom will come off.
  • Be careful not to tear the condom – open the condom packet carefully with your hands, don’t use your teeth!
  • Pull the condom down over your penis, unfolding it all the way to the base of your shaft. To watch a demonstration of how to put on a condom properly click here.
  • Get condoms super cheap from your GP – a quick visit to the doctor and you can get a three-month prescription for $5
  • Get 3 free condom and lube packs from us by ordering online –  we’ll send them to the address you provide in a plain envelope

Lube

  • Use water based lube with the condom – lube keeps sex safer by reducing the risk of small tears, and can make penetration more pleasurable for both people.
  • It is particularly important to use lube for anal sex and dry vaginal sex.
  • You can put a drop of lube inside the condom if your penis is extra sensitive, but don’t put too much in, as it could cause the condom to come off!
